In a similar way, “Trigon” can be equipped to “Lord British” for make him revive several spaceships thanks to his ability to attack twice. “Falchionβ” is the revival card of these monsters, with also the choice to mill the deck for a future swarm. “Jade Knight” will either protect our spaceship from trap cards, or search him from the deck once destroyed.
Though underrated, the Gradius/Konami deck has a solid build for support each of their members, including “Lord British”. Use it in combination with “Book of Moon”, and he will take away the strongest creatures. With his double attack effect, this means the Spaceship will be able to take away up to three monsters from the opponent’s field. While he can produce tokens or destroy cards as most of his allies does, “Lord British” can choice to make a second attack, destroying another monster in battle for then activate one of the remaining effects. “Lord British Space Fighter” is a small member of this Gradius build, but though is not their strongest card, he has an effect other spaceships doesn’t. Most of these builds are arround “Victory Viper XX03” and “Blue thunder T-45”, with several machine and LIGHT support combined for make each attack succesful. “Gradius” and other spaceships based on Konami games, are an indirect archetype based arround attacking and becoming stronger, getting card advantage on each attack.
